Bunch of derivative trades

I did a bunch of derivatives trade since 11th June but didn't have time to post these.

16th June: Buy DLF July forward at 344
16th June: Squared off the position, Sold DLF July forward at 360.15

17th June: Sold Axis Bank June forward at 766
17th June: Squared off the position, Bought Axis Bank June forward at 738
17th June: Squared off the Yes Bank position, Bought June forward at 132.10
17th June: Bought DLF July forward at 339.1
17th June: Bought DLF July forward at 331

29th June: Squared off all DLF position, Sold July forward at 340
29th June: Sold Axis Bank July forward at 838
29th June: Sold Axis Bank July forward at 848
29th June: Sold Axis Bank July forward at 862

30th June: Bought DLF July forward at 317
30th June: Squared off one Axis Bank contract, Bought Axis Bank July forward at 830

1st July: Sold Axis Bank July forward at 880

The balance on the account stands 5,09,068 so you can see I made some decent profit since my last post! :)

Sold Yes Bank futures at 135

I sold Yes Bank June futures again at 135 today. Made some profit earlier.. so thinking of using the same strategy. The close price was just little less than 135, so not sure there would be much of mark to market profit for the day. Lets see how this pans out tomorrow. Balance: 4,34,713.

Bought Yes Bank futures at 128

I squared off my position in Yes Bank June futures today. I had sold it for 136.8 and today I bought it for 128. There were marked to mark profit since 4th June. The balance stands at Rs. 4,31,540.

Sold Yes Bank futures at 136.8

I sold Yes Bank June futures at 136.8 today. There was a small marked to market profit of 1,412. The balance now stands at Rs. 3,94,384 at the end of the day.

Bought Axis Bank Futures at 740

I squared off my position in Axis Bank June futures today. I had sold it for 806.2 and today I bought it for 740. There were marked to mark profit since 29th May. The balance stands at Rs. 3,92,972.

Sell AxisBank Futures at 806.2

I sold Axis Bank June futures at 806.2 today. At the end of the day, my account got credited with 19,015 marked to market profit. The balance is now 3,52,591.

What is this blog for?

I am an stock market enthusiast, watched and invested in stock markets for last 10 years. I have seen the up and down and been elated and dismayed with my investments going over the top and falling through the cracks. With no formal education in finance and with internet as the guiding force, I started investing in stock markets picking up concepts in equity, futures, options etc. Presently, I trade in equity markets in spot, futures and options in Indian Stock Market.

I am going to use this blog to publish the trades I do as and when I do it. You can see if this makes sense for you and do the same trades or leave comments on the blog if you dont think it is an investment decision and we can then argue about it! However, use your brain, think about it, consult some other folks before investing. Do not consider this blog as the bible for trading. These are just my trades. I am starting with a capital of Rs. 3,33,575 on 29th May, 2009. Lets see where I land up before the end of the year.
